Monstera 'Thai Constellation'

Monstera 'Thai Constellation' is a cream-variegated Monstera deliciosa with speckles, marbling and larger pale sections scattered through green leaves. The pattern gives each blade a different balance of green and cream while the plant keeps the broad petioles and climbing growth of Monstera deliciosa.

Monstera 'Thai Constellation' has cream variegation distributed through the plant, while individual leaves still open with natural variation. Leaves expand cleanly in warm filtered light with an airy root zone as the stem climbs.

Thai Constellation leaf pattern and growth habit

  • Variegation: Cream speckles, marbling and larger pale areas across green leaf tissue.
  • Stem growth: A climbing Monstera with new leaves produced along the main vine.
  • Leaf development: Young leaves are simpler; older growth can become larger and fenestrated.
  • Growth pace: Cream-variegated growth is usually slower than fully green Monstera deliciosa, especially while roots establish.

How Monstera 'Thai Constellation' grows indoors

The cream sections are part of the plant’s variegated tissue, not a colour effect created by stronger light. Direct sun can mark pale areas more quickly than green parts, so filtered light is the safer position.

As the plant matures, the stem thickens and aerial roots appear from the nodes. A moss pole, board or similar support gives those roots a surface to attach to, keeping larger leaves spaced along the stem.

Thai Constellation indoor care

  • Light: Give bright filtered light and shield cream sections from direct midday sun.
  • Watering: Water after the upper mix dries, then let excess water leave the pot completely.
  • Potting mix: Choose a chunky aroid mix that holds light moisture without compacting around roots.
  • Humidity: Moderate to higher humidity helps rolled leaves open with less tearing.
  • Training: Guide the main stem upward early so aerial roots can attach as the plant matures.
  • Fertiliser: Use a mild balanced feed after the plant has resumed leaf production; rinse the mix occasionally if pale sections begin browning from salts.
  • Repotting: Repot only when the root ball is dense enough to lift cleanly, keeping the pole attached so the variegated stem is not flexed.

Thai Constellation leaf and root issues

  • Brown cream patches: Check direct sun, dry roots, cold glass contact or recent root disturbance.
  • Yellowing leaves: Inspect drainage and root condition before watering more often.
  • Small new growth: Review support, warmth, root space and available light.
  • Soft stem base: Reduce prolonged wetness and check the node area for rot.

Thai Constellation safety around pets

Monstera 'Thai Constellation' contains calcium oxalate crystals. Leaves, cuttings and trimmed stems should stay away from chewing pets and children, and sap should be washed from skin after pruning.

Thai Constellation in Monstera deliciosa

Monstera 'Thai Constellation' is a variegated Monstera deliciosa in Araceae. The species name deliciosa refers to the ripe fruit of mature plants in suitable tropical climates; indoors, this cultivar develops cream-speckled foliage on a climbing Monstera frame.

Cream speckling, marbling and mature fenestration keep Monstera 'Thai Constellation' recognisably Monstera deliciosa while giving every leaf a different pattern.

The cutest softest, quack, quack
Color: PINK
My seven year-old full octane energy 12 pound dog is obsessed with ducks every toy that she’s ever gotten really attached to has been a duck and I bought the same exact up from a different store at least a dozen times because she was obsessed with it. But as soon as she would get the noisemaker out of it, it was time for anyone. But it was so cheaply made I decided to start getting her different ducks that were supposed to be harder to destroy, and we still have a graveyard of destroyed ducks. But this one she doesn’t wanna destroy it. It only has one little squeaker is what I call it so she doesn’t care to try to tear it open and take it out. The material is extremely lush and soft and it is incredibly adorable. I don’t really know what makes it an interactive toy though, but I recommend it.

My 5 1/2 month old Maltese destroyed this toy in a few days so I would definitely say it is not chew resistance.

Low/mid-tier toy at a high price point
Color: YELLOW
I have two pitbulls and they LOVE their babies! Sadly, one of them likes to tear their babies apart when he gets anxious, so it was time to look for some new ones. They seem to favor any stuffed animal can be "nommed" on (suckled), so when I came across this duck rope toy, I thought I'd give it a try! The toy arrived quickly, did not have any visible defects, and looked exactly as it does in the listing photos. It has a body filled with stuffing, crinkly arms, and a rope neck. There is one squeaker in the main body section. The minute the dogs saw me unpack the duck, they were at my feet and staring at me like "hand over the baby, woman." So, I did..... And they hated it :( For some reason, my dogs have totally rejected this toy... All they do is sniff it? They typically LOVE rope toys or anything that is elongated and allows them to play tug-o-war. So, I am not sure what the deal is with this duck. *shrug* Currently, this stuffed duck rope toy is listed for $10.49 on sale, down from the regular price of $14.99. I consider this toy to be low end to mid tier at best. It's something you would expect to find at your local discount/dollar store. Based on the lower quality, I think the current price is higher than I would be willing to pay for this toy. While the toy is exactly as depicted in the listing photos, it is nothing special and definitely is NOT "indestructible."
