Will und James, die Brüder hinter Brother Cycles, haben ihrem All-Road-Renner Stroma ein kleines Update verpasst. Einerseits gibt es ein frisches neues Design, das in den zwei Farbvarianten Electric Blue und Rubble erhältlich ist, darüber hinaus dürft ihr euch über etwas mehr Reifenfreiheit freuen. 

Wir haben in den letzten Jahren Stromas mit den unterschiedlichsten Ausrichtungen aufgebaut, als sportlicher und leichter Stahlrenner mit Hochprofilern und modernem Look ebenso wie als Schutzblech-Rennrad mit Lichtanlage für lange Strecken und sportliche Reisen. Mit dem Stroma könnt ihr eure Vorstellungen auf Basis eines Rahmens umsetzen, der wenig Wünsche offenlässt: Reynolds 725 Rohrsatz, leichte Carbongabel mit interner Kabelführung, Schutzblechmontagepunkte - alles sinnvoll und wertig umgesetzt. 

Das Stroma ist für uns als Fans von All-Road-Rädern ein wunderbares Beispiel für den Eins-für-Alles-Gedanken, ein sportlicher Allrounder zwischen Rennrad, leichtem Schotterrenner, Commuter mit und ohne Schutzbleche und Lichtanlage oder Bikepacking-Langstreckenrenner. Dank der erweiterten Reifenfreiheit von 38mm ohne und 32mm mit Schutzblechen seid ihr auf vieles vorbereitet, flott mit 30er Slicks auf Asphalt oder leicht genoppt über Waldautobahnen - das Stroma passt.

Der Rahmen kommt mit der eigenen 1 1/8 – 1 1/2 Voll-Carbon-Gabel von Brother inklusive interner Verlegung für Lichtkabel. Das benötigte Steuerlager ist für 44mm, ZS44/28.6 oben, EC44/40 unten.

These are easily the most comfortable flip flops I have ever owned. From the moment I put them on, there was no break in period at all. They felt soft, supportive, and ready for all day wear right out of the box. The cushioning is excellent without feeling too soft, and they have a nice stable feel when walking. They are lightweight and clearly made with quality materials, making them great for everyday use or around water. One thing to note is that they run a little on the larger side, so if you are between sizes, you may want to consider sizing down for a better fit. Overall, these are a great combination of comfort, durability, and function. I would absolutely recommend them, especially if comfort is your top priority. (Excuse the teeth marks- my dog unfortunately got ahold of them before I snapped the photo- they are PERFECT out of the box)

Columbia always makes great stuff

Even with my flat feet these offer a lot of padding which makes these extremely comfortable. They increase my height about an inch haha. These are great for walking around the beach or just going for walks. The tread on the bottom of these make walking up hills where the surfaces are not completely even extremely easy and very grippy. Time will tell how durable these are, but so far they're holding up very well.

I picked these up mainly for casual wear and beach days, and they’ve honestly been a great grab. They were comfortable right out of the box, which isn’t always the case with flip flops. The footbed has a little bit of cushion without feeling overly soft or flimsy. They feel supportive enough for running quick errands but still light and easy to slide on. The fit was true to size for me. They’re maybe slightly roomy in the toe area, but not in a way that bothers me. The straps don’t rub or dig in, which is usually my biggest concern with sandals like this. They also seem well made. The material feels durable and not cheap, and they have that simple Columbia look that works with shorts or just something casual around the house. Overall, solid pair of flips.
