* Classic silhouette with cinched waist and draped skirt

* Short puff sleeves with ruching

* Rounded neckline with ruching over entire front bodice

* Original self belt with huge contrasting cerise corsage.

* Unlined, no opening - slips over head

* Green silk taffeta slip with celedon green ribbon straps to match at back

Condition 

Such an eye-catching dress in a gorgeous colour!  I would say a celedon green. This colour was once considered so beautiful that only the eyes of royalty could behold it. And it truly is, slightly changing hues in different light. Its in excellent condition for its age, although it does have two tiny nicks in the upper back that can be darned or glued closed and one tiny hole near hem  Refer last photo for the nick. The hem has also dropped a little in places. But all in all, considering the age of this lovely, she's in great condition. Cleaned and ready to wear.
