The Robin Dress is a timeless princess seamed dress with a deliciously swishy skirt that will make you feel like dancing every time you wear it.

It features princess seams that skim the body, with pattern pieces for Small (A-B), Medium (C-D) & Large (DD/E+) busts, front buttons, and a flattering scooped neck.

View A ends at mid calf and has bell sleeves and inseam pockets.

View B ends just below the knee, and has short sleeves and patch pockets.

Choose between a simple turned hem, and an elegant bias tape hem, and mix and match sleeve and pocket views for a variety of looks.

The Robin Dress is named for two beautiful and brilliant Robins.  First, for my mother, who inspires me every day, and whose description of the perfect dress inspired the design.  Second, for the New Zealand robin, the toutouwai, the friendly inquisitive little bird whose presence adds an extra charm to bush-walks, and whose cleverness continually astonishes researchers.  Toutouwai can count up to seven, and remember tasks for at least two years.
