PLANTING

Phaseolus vulgaris

Germination: 4-10 days

Germination Temperature: Optimum soil temperatures are 70-85ºF

Seed Sowing Depth: 1” deep

Outside Sowing: After the last frost with soil temperatures above 60ºF. Sow 2-3” apart. Planting in soil under 60ºF results in poor germination.

How much does a packet plant: 25 foot single row

Harvest: Before the seeds bulge and beans snap easily. Pick continually every 2-3 days to prolong production.

Tips: Grow in light, well-drained soil, and provide adequate, even moisture, especially at flowering time. Dry soil can result in low yields and fibrous pods. Do not over fertilize the Jade Bush Bean with nitrogen, which results in a surplus of foliage and low, delayed pod growth. Adding inoculant at planting time aids in a larger harvest and more robust plants. Sow a few times a season, 3-4 weeks apart for a continuous harvest.

Beware of purchasing. Bought this a few weeks ago and half of them are moldy. Not seeing an option to return or get reimbursed.

Its bledie lekker, and easy on your teeth
I ordered then immediately reordered as I ate the whole bag in one day. Yes, I've been starved of this kind of product... I so don't care for beef sticks and American jerky... in my mind meat shouldn't taste like candy (So nasty) and this is zero sugar and 100% delicious. I overdid it by eating the whole bag in one day but I couldn't help it. If any complaint, I think it could have had a little more salt, although I don't know if salt is in the recipe at all, but it was very tasty and dry yet soft to chew, a little fatty but I liked that, and over all the quality seems high, both of the product and the packaging. I'm a satisfied customer and repeat buyer. I went on to try their biltong slices and chunks and those were very yummy too.
