San Pedro Cactus | Echinopsis pachanoi | Trichocereus pachanoi

An absolutely essential part of any cactus collectors garden or landscape! This robust plant is fast growing, easy to maintain, propagate and grow in your home potted, or in the ground. This variety of trichocereus cactus has very small spines a frost tolerance to the low 30's high 20's a high tendency to offset from the base forming many branches quickly. It is very easy to propograte and makes an excellent grafting stock for many varities of cactus due to its strong root system and resistance to pests, mold and disease. Mature plants can grow into stands over 10-20 feet tall with a diameter of 5-6 feet wide or more when in the right conditions. 

Sold per piece, Bare Root without any soil or pot. Small scarring is normal and expected but will not affect plant. Discoloration on the bottom of the cactus is normal from being planted in soil.

When Selecting the Type or Variety of San Pedro Cactus you have two options the PC Cultivar (Predominant Cultivar) of San Pedro Cactus which is grown by clone and Non-PC Cultivars which are grown from seed and express more variety.

We do our best to limit these in our care and handling of the plants but due to the nature of the plant and their sharp spines your cactus may have some superficial scars. Rooted plants will show a discoloration and may be slightly softer under the soil line where they have been planted before shipping. This is totally normal and should be used as a reference of how deep to plant the cactus.

In spite of all my knowledge on him, I find this book an interesting read for it provides an insight into his personal advancement from a struggling lawyer to the Father of a Nation. It was inspiring to learn how he overcame each shortcoming and tried to live his life with honesty, integrity and transparency until his death. My only complaint with the book is that it is a bit short. It was a quick read. But, the content was good.

A Rich and Wonderful Pictorial Biography

This is a beautiful book that tells Ghandi's story through wonderful photographs and a simple and elucidating text. Ghandi appears os a struggling human being who changes himself through hard work. It really is a story of transformation, and it's very well told here. I liked it so well, I used it as part of our study on world revolutions when I was teaching ninth grade last year, and the students also liked it very much.

It’s a book of astonishing quality, the words well-chosen, each page proof of her craft. She engages us not only with her physical ordeal (which is considerable, until she finds better shoes along the way), but also with her wonderment at the things she sees, the people she meets on the way, and we are compelled along, turning each page to see what happens next. Her story is not only rich in anecdote but also in the wealth of reflection on what she sees and hears along the way. Some particular scenes that stay fixed in memory are her encounters with a flock of sheep she meets at just the point when she needs them — a Camino miracle! — and also her descriptions of the great storks in their huge nests on all the church steeples and other high points along the way.
